Buccaneer Beach:
The Buccaneer beach is a great white sand beach and is home to the Buccaneer Hotel. Hotel guest have free access to the beach. The beach is often quite busy during season. A fee is collected to access the beach through the hotel grounds for non-hotel guest. The beach is dotted with lots of tall, beautiful coconut trees. The coconut trees give you lots of opportunities to get shade. The ocean floor in many spots has a lot of sea grass, which makes seeing conch, starfish and other marine animals that dwell in this type of area a common site. A beach bar and open restaurant is located in short distance from the sandy beach front; perfect for getting a bite to eat or a cool drink.

Carambola / Davis Bay: Home to the Carambola Resort, Davis Bay is a long sandy white beach. The hotel offers you amenities like bar, restaurant, shop and water sports. The beach is a long beautiful stretch of white sand. This beach is a lovely spot to spend the day.

Grapetree Beach: Grapetree Beach is a narrow, beautiful white sand beach. It runs along the same stretch as the Divi Beach. The shoreline is perfect for a nice, quiet relaxing day on the beach. A few palm trees can be found on the far end. It makes for a lovely walk. Several residential homes are close by so respect the private property that boundaries this lovely beach. Snorkeling is decent and turtles can sometimes be spotted. This beach is often quiet and makes for a great spot to read, think, picnic and to just relax.

Tamarind Reef Bay: Tamarind Reef Bay is a nice beach to enjoy a variety of activities. The bay is a little bit rocky on the far end but perfectly sandy for the remaining length of the beach. Lay out on the beach, sit under one of the palm trees that line the beach or have a tropical cocktail at the poolside bar, have lunch at the restaurant, snorkel... lots to do and enjoy. The beach offers a great view of Buck Island.

Coakley Bay: Coakley Bay is a beautiful white sand beach that is often sparsely populated. The water has a good bit of sea grass in it so often the shoreline will be littered with sea grass. The beach offers views of Buck Island. The crystal clear water at Coakley Bay offers good snorkeling. The ocean floor bottom is rocky in some places and these areas are strewn with sea urchins, so beware. Although there are no palm trees on the beach, shade can be found under the many sea grape trees.

Divi Beach: This lovely white sand beach offers you a relaxing day in the sun. Palm trees line the sandy shoreline. Home to Divi Carina Bay Resort this beach is in easy access to water sports, bar and restaurant and even a casino. You can walk along the Divi Beach to Grapetree Beach which makes for a great beach stroll. Enjoy the pool side bar and restaurant at the Divi. Order a delicious cold tropical drink and sit under a palm tree while enjoying paradise.

Frederiksted Beach: Frederiksted Beach is walking distance from Frederiksted and the cruise ship pier. A small but lovely white sand beach it offers instant access to the lovely Caribbean Sea right from the Frederiksted waterfront. This beach tends to be heavily populated when cruise ships are in port. Cruise ship passengers can sight see around St. Croix, shop in Frederiksted and then take a relaxing swim before returning to the ship.

Protestant Cay Beach: Take a short ferry ride over from Christiansted to Protestant Cay, home of the Hotel on the Cay. This sandy little beach is delightful for sunning and swimming. This beach offers a stunning view of the Christiansted harbor and Fort Christianvearn. You can enjoy the beauty of Christiansted from the tranquility of this little cay. A few palm trees and palm-covered umbrellas offer shade. You can go to the beach in the morning and shop in the afternoon. On Sundays there is often live music on the beach. (The ferry departs from the dock that is in front of small park next to Fort Christianvearn; it runs from 7am to 6pm and cost $3 round trip.)

Cane Bay: Cane Bay is a great spot for sunbathing, walking, snorkeling, playing with the kids - just about everything because Cane Bay is just a great beach. The long white sand beach is lined with many trees. Cane Bay is renowned as an excellent snorkeling and scuba diving site. About 1/4 mile offshore, the depth plunges to 1,000 feet, so divers can merely swim out and dive/snorkel "the wall", as it is called. This beach is easily accessed from the main road.

Chenay Beach: Chenay Beach is a pretty little beach. Home to a hotel, the beach is open to the public. This white sand beach offers both a relaxing atmosphere and beach fun. Wind surfers, snorkeling and sunfish rentals are available. A rustic beachside Caribbean bar and restaurant makes you feel far away from everything else and is perfect for lunch and drinks while enjoying the tranquility of the beach.

Reef Bay: A popular spot for wind surfing, Reef Bay is also well known for the great restaurant that is nearby. Many sea grape trees line the pretty beach making it a great place to have a picnic. Water sports equipment is available. This is a great beach you could easily spend the whole day here.

Jack's Bay and Issac's Bay: Both these beaches are beautiful white sand beaches. Perfect for those of you looking for some off the beaten track fun. The beaches are accessible by hiking/walking only, and it is about two miles. Hike down to Jack's Bay where you can stay and enjoy this beach, or keep going around the trail and take in the beauty of Issac's Bay. These beaches hold claim to being some of the most beautiful beaches in the Virgin Islands. The Nature Conservatory protects both areas.

Shoys: Considered one of the prettiest beaches on St. Croix Shoys Bay has crystal clear water, white sand, pretty palm trees and with the warm sun shining down is just perfect for a day of enjoying paradise. You have to drive past the golf course and then walk down a dirt path to get there. There is a residential area close by so respect private property boundaries. The east end of the beach is better for swimming while the opposite end offers good snorkeling.

Buck Island - Turtle Beach:
The stunning beach on Buck Island and the surrounding waters are one of the most prized areas and attractions on St. Croix and in the Virgin Islands. Buck Island is part of the U.S. National Park. An underwater trail leads you through a natural wonder of coral, underwater gardens and a variety of marine life. The beach on Buck Island is a gorgeous white sand beach.
