Money: The U.S. dollar is the currency of the BVI. American Express, Diners Club, Visa and MasterCard are accepted in most establishments, but not all. On all checks and traveler's checks there is a 10 cent stamp duty.

Banking: Banks are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Banks also open from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays.
