Nightlife
St. Croix is a big island with a small island feel. The nightlife
is made up mainly of eating out at one of the many great local restaurants
and then sitting by the bar drinking and meeting people, listening
to live music or taking a spin on the open air dance floor in many
cases.
You will find several bars around the island: many are in Christiansted.
The local nightlife focuses on music, food and good times. Live
music is a popular entertainment. There are a few very colorful
bars. Crab races are a unique and popular activity and worth attending
if you get the chance - it's a very interesting pastime!
St. Croix is home to the Virgin Islands' only casino - so you can
try your luck at the tables or slots! The casino also puts on many
musical shows for your enjoyment. Other live performances and plays
are performed at the Performing Arts Center. During holidays and
local events many night activities take place.
St. Croix' resorts and hotels are a great place to go out to and
have a great time. Many resorts have special Caribbean showcases
including beach bbq, shows and buffets where you can meet locals
and other visitors, the friendly atmosphere makes for a great time.
